Holiday packing often feels overwhelming, especially when you're also organising essentials for children. The last thing you want to stress over is what outfits to bring. To make her upcoming trip as seamless as possible, Beth and I teamed up to create a versatile travel wardrobe that would allow her to fully relax and enjoy her holiday.
Our first step was a style review. We tried on a variety of carefully selected pieces, focusing on looks that would suit a range of activities, from beach days to evening dinners. Knowing her schedule would include beach-to-bar outings, we prioritised loose, airy fabrics that could easily transition from casual to polished. Flowy dresses, lightweight cover-ups, and relaxed tops made the cut, as they were perfect for layering and maintaining a comfortable feel in warm weather. We also selected a few versatile skirts and wide-legged pants that could be dressed up with accessories, creating an elegant yet effortless evening look.
Once we had the ideal wardrobe for her trip, I carefully photographed each outfit with a Polaroid, capturing a complete look to ensure an easy reference. The Polaroids, tucked into her suitcase alongside each outfit, made it easy for Beth to know exactly what to wear without giving it a second thought while on holiday. We even included a few backup pieces, allowing for spontaneity while keeping her style organised and on-point.
To round up her travel prep, we added versatile accessories that would complement multiple outfits, minimising the need for excessive packing while maximising her style options. With her suitcase neatly organised and her outfits pre-planned, Beth now had a perfectly curated wardrobe ready for any occasion her holiday might bring.
In the end, Beth's holiday packing became more than just a to-do list item—it became a stress-free part of her travel experience, setting her up to fully embrace her trip with everything she needed to feel stylish and at ease.
